Having complete and accurate documentation ensures your property sale is legal, transparent, and fast. Here’s what you’ll need as a seller.
1. Proof of Ownership
- Original Sale Deed / Title Deed
- Allotment or Transfer Letter (if issued by a housing authority)
- Mutation Letter (Fard) showing your name in property records
2. Society / Authority Documents
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) for Sale/Transfer
- No Dues Certificate (confirming all payments are cleared)
- Possession Letter (for developed plots or houses)
3. Financial and Tax Documents
- Property Tax Clearance Certificate
- Utility Bill Receipts (gas, electricity, water)
- CNIC Copy (seller and buyer)
4. For Registration and Transfer
- Sale Agreement (signed by both parties)
- Payment Receipts or Pay Orders

Tip: Always keep attested photocopies of all documents. A legal advisor can help you prepare your transfer file for the registrar’s office.
